This privacy policy applies to the "Phone Data Backup" application (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Bikash Malo (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad-Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

**Your Consent**

By downloading, installing, and using the Application, you consent to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. "Processing" means accessing, using, or handling information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, and using information for the Application's features.

**Information We Collect and How We Use It**

Our Application's primary purpose is to empower you with tools to back up, restore, and manage your personal data. To provide these features, we require access to sensitive information. We are committed to transparency and handle your data with the utmost care.

**1. User-Provided Information & Sensitive Permissions**

The Application's core features rely on accessing the following sensitive data, for which we request your explicit permission:

*   **SMS Messages (Read-Only):**

    *   **Purpose:** To read your SMS messages to create local backups in XML format and to generate user-initiated, printable reports in PDF and XLS formats.

    *   **Data Handling:** This permission is used **only** to read data. The data is processed locally on your device to create backup files. We **do not** collect, store, or transmit your SMS messages to our servers or any third party.

*   **Call Logs (Read/Write):**

    *   **Purpose of Reading (READ_CALL_LOG):** To read your call history to create local backups in XML format and to generate user-initiated, printable reports and statistics in PDF and XLS formats.

    *   **Purpose of Writing (WRITE_CALL_LOG):** This permission is **exclusively** used for the **"Restore"** functionality. When you choose to restore a backup file, the Application writes the call history from your backup file back into your device's call log.

    *   **Data Handling:** All Call Log data is processed locally on your device. We **do not** collect, store, or transmit your call history to our servers or any third party.

*   **Contacts (Read-Only):**

    *   **Purpose:** To read contact names associated with phone numbers. This makes your SMS and Call Log reports more readable and useful by showing names instead of just numbers.

    *   **Data Handling:** Contact information is accessed **only** during the report generation process and is processed locally on your device. We **do not** collect, store, or transmit your contacts list to our servers or any third party.

**2. Automatically Collected Information**

The Application may collect certain non-personal, anonymous information automatically to maintain and improve our services and to display advertisements. This includes:

*   **Device Information:** Your device model, operating system version, etc.

*   **Analytics Data:** Anonymous usage statistics, such as session duration, features used, and crash data, are collected via **Google Analytics for Firebase** to help us improve the Application.

*   **Advertising ID:** An anonymous advertising identifier is used by **Google AdMob** to serve personalized advertisements.

*   With our trusted service providers (like Google) who work on our behalf and have agreed to adhere to this privacy statement.

**Data Retention Policy and Your Rights**

*   **Local Data:** Your personal data and backup files are stored locally on your device. You have full control to manage or delete them at any time. The Service Provider does not have access to or retain this data.

*   **Automatically Collected Data:** Aggregated, anonymous data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

*   **Opt-Out:** You can stop all information collection by uninstalling the Application.

**Children's Privacy**

Our services are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

**Security**

We are committed to safeguarding your information. We use a variety of physical and electronic measures to protect the information we process. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
